Kara: So true. My husband and I are back at the basics also, like you said, "How do I love my neighbor who, as my husband says, is sooo arrogant?" I think God is bringing us back to that. Not the tissue paper but the real meat of the Gospel. Thanks for the post.
Kara: Ravi, your prophecy is right on point. It is about pure faith, the faith of Christ not of ourselves. We live in times where the Spirit is not found becasue the church today is like the Galatians; all flesh no Spirit. Thanks for your post.

They Gave From Their Heart

A church in Singapore raised over $19 million within 24 hours to fund a building programme.  A member of the church who gave to the donation drive says, ""People...gave out of the abundance of their hearts because they believed they will get something back."

Jesus said in Luke 6:34-35, "And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank shall ye have? "for even the sinners lend to sinners to receive the like." Wherefore love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, looking for nothing again, and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the most High." and Matthew 6:2-3, "Therefore when thou givest thine alms, thou shalt not make a trumpet to be blown before thee, as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, to be praised of men." "But when thou doest thine alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth."
The comment stated that the people gave for this building out of their hearts because they believed they would get something back. That is what is taught today. Give in order to get a double portion blessing. Most are looking for a financial reward. Everything done in the church today is wrong. They pass a plate to take up the offering. That is to be seen by all! I know Jesus did say in later scripture about giving and it shall be given unto pressed down.... but that was in regard to how to treat people not financial giving. People need to read the scripture for themselves and ask for wisdom from the Holy Spirit, not man. "But in vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines, men's precepts." Matthew 15:9
