On February 15, the day after Valentine's Day, us guys and the gals, decided to leave the children home and have a fun and roaring time together. We met at Julie's Pizzeria for dinner. Mike and Meagan planned some games, with some cool prizes to be won. There was a tie between the couples Ravi and Catherine, and the couples Marty and Pam. We had a lip-locking duel, to see who could beat the tie! Guess who won? The Philemons of course! But then, Jack and Rita, decided to lock lips just for the fun of it. And all this was happening in a restaurant. Oh my, the attention we all got that evening! After dinner, we went to the McCrorys. There we had deserts and played some more games. We played a game called, 'How Well Do You Know Your Spouse?" You will not believe the kind of rip-roaring responses there was for this game. Some of the responses are so hilarious and would receive the 'R' certificate, if it were a movie. How we slipped from the mood of pure fun to prayer, was just amazing. In between laughing over these jokes, we slipped into praying for some pressing needs. I guess, that is as 'religious' as we would get. It was much too soon, when we had to check in on our children. But the moment we spent together is permanently edged in each of our minds. I know that I was laughing at least or one whole week, just recollecting some of the things that were said then.
